Hughes was only in charge for a month and a half of that season tbf. Calderwood was 10 times worse when he came in and his whole reign would probably be summed up by that cup game against ayr that season. Flat, uninterested and boring boy standard football.

Hibs beat Rangers 3-0 at Ibrox to give Calderwood his first win (IIRC). What I remember most about the match was arriving home from work just in time for the kick-off, then missing the first 2 goals due to going for a quick dump (keeping the thread on topic) and then microwaving something to eat.

It was after that Carlisle friendly I put money on him being the first manager to leave that season at 12/1. Sure there was a thread on here about the post match fighting
