A name I know, but not a player I have heard much about. Looking at his career information he played for Celtic during the early 70`s when we had some great battles against them. The 60`s and 70`s were a golden age for Scottish football and sadly we are at the time now where we are losing a lot of the players who contributed in making it so.

He scored a lot of goals but wasn't a big star like Dalglish or Johnstone. He fitted right into Jock Stein's jigsaw though.

Spot on. All those immortals are proving not to be but it is nice they are remembered. I don’t care who they played for. I grew up with Footballer cards and Harry Hood and all these men were magical in their different ways. 74 isn’t old. R.I.P. Harry.

Me too, the Topps set from (I think) 1976, that had a lot of action shots, got quite a few Harry Hoods, first set I collected.
