:agree: to a parallel universe where they won the cup, having played Celtic off the park with beautiful, flowing, one-touch football.

Surprised that Queen Ann wasn't charging an admission fee. Big cash cow as well as face painting and clowns. They would have lapped it up. Ah well maybe next year..

Can't stand the OF. Fans so bloated on success they don't even care. Is that even a real pic?

To be fair to our pink chums, if they had won at least the victory parade would have meant something and there would have been 100,000 + out on the streets celebrating en route to gorgie.

It kinda amuses me that followers of teams through there just dont get to experience what we did.

The Glasgow teams have so much baggage and potential for bother that the police are wary of anything like this and rerouted / cancelled it at the first opportunity as they simply didnt want it to happen in the first place.

Their excuse was "fans on the road" - Jeez, they should have seen our entire parade route in 2016 !

The scene on the right is hilarious.

Tbf, this is the international, just down the road from Hampden. A weird place to do the parade, miles away from Parkhead.

That's Govanhill, only about 15 minutes walk from Hampden.

Did they go anywhere else after that?

When did Celtic start doing bus parades?

I can recall one after the 1967 European Cup win and there were probably others since but
I thought they'd been stopped for security reasons in recent years. Maybe this is a special treble treble one.

For non Old Firm fans the cup parades are special occasions with an atmosphere and inner feeling that Old Firm fans simply won`t get. That raw emotion, joy and sense of not knowing how long it might be till you experience it again.
Hearts would have a parade today through the streets of the Capital with thousands out to celebrate and salute their heroes, led by Craig Levein triumphantly holding the cup aloft at the front of the open top bus had they won. But they didn't.

Hearts had a victory parade at the end of September to celebrate wrapping the league title up. Nearly a million people (and assorted cartoon characters) lined the streets of Disneyland.
