I see most of the dirtiest player in the League play for the Sheep (and another one is moving there too!)

I thought they were terrible on Sunday and yet most fouls given against Hibs. They are thugs. I was surprised to see Flo so high up and also Mallan even in the list (as he is supposed to be lightweight and doesn't get stuck in).

Kamberi picks up loads of needless bookings. Not surprising for me he’s in the list.

I'd be happy with Hibs being the dirtiest team in the league if it meant finishing 2nd five years in a row.

Just think how many Shinnie would have if he wasn't also the ref! Surprising the number of forwards included though i guess they'll be small, niggly fouls.

They finished 4th though.

Unfortunately though, it's already been used to have another dig at Kamberi.

Ah okay I thought it could have been my post which was trying to indicate he isn’t dirty and a lot of fouls are needless.

Anyone else think this thread was about some very kinky new porn film?

Edit: Ah, I see I'm not the only one...

Aberdeen are a very physical side so I'm not surprised to see this. However they always seem to get away with loads of fouls against us so from that perspective I am a bit surprised.

The referees need to punish them more in my opinion but whilst they are getting away with it, we need to adopt a similar style against them. It won't be pretty to watch but we have such an awful recent record against them and if their style of play isn't going to be punished, our players need to find a way of playing them at their own game.

Is that not the mistake we make at the Tiny PBS? Getting dragged down to their level and being beaten by experience?

We definitely need to be more streetwise and aware of the dark arts that Aberdeen excel in without going full on thuggery. For all the chat about Lennon, we definitely had a soft underbelly against Aberdeen. I’m hoping Heckingbottom can address this.

Aberdeen players have it drilled into them, to fall to the ground at the slightest touch from an opposition player. Most of the time the ref is conned and they get the free kick. They are also very good at intimidating refs by circling him whenever a decision is given against them; this offen results in their players getting away with justified yellow and red cards, e.g., Shinnie several times in recent games at Easter Road. Willie Miller and Alex McLeish in their playing days got away with reffing games for years and clearly the Dons have this kind of behaviour in their DNA.

I do agree with another poster who said Hibs players need to get streetwise when we play against Aberdeen, but I wouldn't want us to copy their tactics.
