I think their tickets go on sale later than ours.

We sold roughly 500 more than them last year, so hopefully keep that up.

Think they took longer to get their finance payment plan in place so their early bird offer is still ongoing. Still think they will sell as many as us

We sold more last season and more of them are no renewing this season. They are finally realising they are ***** at this level playing field malarkey.

Nonsense

Possibly but I'd not completely disregard it.

It's coming from a fairly prominent poster and they've also not sorted out a finance payment plan option yet.

The fact they've had then on sale for 3 months and we've not heard a peep from them about sales would suggest to me they are struggling.

They haven't needed to adjust their ways in the slightest. Since admin, over and above their season ticket and match day takings, they've spent £4m from Budge, £8m from FoH, and £10m from anonymous donor(s).

They might drop a touch by the time the new season starts, but I doubt they will fall off a cliff.

They are a fairly loyal/subservient bunch, they seem terrified that if they stop pumping money in the club will fall apart, for that reason I think most will stay on board.

Their st tally will go up wether they win the final.or not. They have a loyal band of supporters, but, if they keep playing the way they do it will eventually drop off.

It's abit of harmless fun. They've gave us it tight for years about poor attendances so when the shoes on the other foot we give it back. It's tit for tat but as rivals that what we do.

Rather this type of rivalry than the poison we see in the west.

I thought it was crap banter when they done and think it's crap when we do it. Football teams are different sizes and have different attendances. It's doesn't really bother me of one is higher than the other

Hearts remind me of Hibs from 2008-2013. Poor players, general apathy from the support, chronic football, somehow managing to make a cup final and being badly embarrassed. Pleasing. Hopefully all ends in relegation for them too.

I think the whole big/wee team thing is a bit cringe.
But what does matter to me is having as many Hibs fans as possible, bringing as much money into the club as possible.
Hearts selling less, might mean we can push on a bit, more neutrals moving to Edinburgh might pick Hibs if we are seen as bigger/better.
I'm surprised the cup bounce has continued this long, but let's keep it going a while longer!

I tell you what struck me over the weekend, as I went to several places inside and outside Edinburgh enjoying the sunshine - how many kids you see wearing Hibs kits these days.

It might just have been the places I went (not exactly hotbeds of Hibs support most of them) but there were more of them than Hearts, Celtic and Rangers put together, many times over.

The only top I saw anything like as often was Barcelona.

This is surely a good sign regarding our support?

If they win that cup sales will soar!

The hope is that Hearts 2019 are like Hibs 2013.

Somehow scraped to a final, against a Neil Lennon Celtic team that aren't firing on all cylinders but rely on individuals having a good day. The Edinburgh side in each case went in to the final with a punchers chance (ie if Griffiths could ping one in from range, then we might hold on. Or in Hearts case, a set piece header).

Our 2013 final finished 0-3 after Stokes & Hooper had good games in the final.

Wouldn't overly surprise me if Forrest and McGregor do something similar for a 0-3 scoreline on 25 May (though Celtic look so disjointed that "punchers chance" is still something you couldn't rule out as long as it's 0-0)

I think that they will have sold well in excess of 5,000 by now but if the figures were great then they would have an article in the Evening News telling us how many had been sold.

Makes me think sales haven't been great.
