What's peoples opinion was he offside or not ?

No complaints from our players or definitive angle on the tele or even spoken about :dunno:

Thought at the time it was.

Seeing it back it wasn’t. The player trying to block the ball from Davies (Hanlon I think) was stretching and kept Defoe onside.

When I saw it first time he looked yards off. Watched it back on TV and although there's no definitive angle, I'm fairly sure he was on.

He was onside

The fault for the goal lies with the midfield not working hard enough and not tracking runners

I've faith in PH & RS that they know what needs to change & improve this summer, but our midfield has been badly outrun and not worked hard enough on a few occasions this season, and Killie this Saturday will be a further test for the likes of Mark Milligan etc as Killie work non stop.

My first thought was offside

Gauld gave a slack ball away in midfield it broke to Davis Hanlon could sense the danger came across put his hand up but realised he was onside too late...!

One nil!

No way to tell from the footage but looks very close. Poor ball from Millagan and then lazy from Gauld are the issues not the linesman

Arguably shouldn't have been playing following his clash with Lewis previous week, should have been a red.
