Only if we want to close our scouting department and just look at ex-Celtic players for future signings or if we want to win an “Oldest Squad” award.

We need young striker who we will get years out of, not Hooper who would give us 2 seasons max imo.

He's 31, not 101.

Nonsense we need a striker that’s got quality some folk need to get a grip, 31 these days some folk would have players out to pasture, look at David Gray he’s still quality

We’ve already heard our Manager speak about using loans next season ..I’m pretty sure he’d be delighted to get someone of hoopers Level for 2 years ....think he will get a decent move for himself Down south mind you ..

Hooper is superb. Surprised he's been dumped over fletcher. He's been pretty injury prone I think the last couple years though.

More likely to end up at Celtic as back up than us I'd imagine!

If we get a good striker we won’t get years out of them.

Exactly the striker to take us to World glory. If we can somehow bump him out of three years wages then I would sign him immediately

Fletch has been fantastic for Weds this season when back from injury.

Hooper won’t be back in Scotland.

More likely to go to the lesser greens than us. 30k a week. Come on fellow Hibees. Just no going to happen

Should’ve kept the hot physio. She could lure in these 30k a week players with datass. No wonder we’ve not won the cup or league since she left. Same happened at Chelsea under Mourinho

Hooper was a Lennon target when NL was our manager, he wanted him on loan,

I don’t think whether we’d want him or not is even debatable.

Our chances of getting him on the other hand...

I'd take him 100% age is no concern Boyd,Miller,McDonald,Defoe and dobbie are just examples up here that age doesn't mean anything when your a poacher. His injury record is more concerning feel like he'd be a Naismith type signing quality on his day highest earner plays 8games a season.

If that's the height of his and Celtic's ambition let's hope he gets the Celtic job permanently.

James Forrest is a lot less injured since she got divorced also, coincidence? (In complete jest of course)

No way we could afford the money he'd want. I'd love to have him at Hibs, though.

We'll only get two full seaaons max out of a striker anyway, he'll either be too good to hang onto and be sold or he'll no be good enough and freed, the days of hanging onto our best players for years are long gone.

Could be something in that.
