You often hear players on 2,3,5,10k a week etc on wages, often wondered are players paid per week or are they paid per month? Just curious, so not worried if nobody can answer.
I think these days a lot of other people get paid per month

remember a few years back an english premiership players wage slip was leaked and it was insane.

I can't remember who it was or who he played for but the number of 00000000 at the end was eye watering stuff

I assumed that would be per week - but going by a Google search it does seem to be for the month. I thought he'd be on more than 6/7k a week at Celtic.

It wasn't. It was £26k for the month gross, bonuses for that month took it up to £44k and tax reduced that to £27k.

One of my mates brothers is friends with a guy whos brother plays for Barca. He's not a big star or that and don't even know if he's actually played a match but he gets paid every 6 months. No idea if that's the done thing in Spain or not.
