Apparently a shoe in to be the Yams manager come summer. Anyone else heard this?

In one form or another, they ain’t getting rid of Craig any time soon

It’s on Kickback, appeared a few days ago, and was on it again tonight
How do you get a team playing “hoofball”, to play McCann’s silky football?

Sadly I can't believe there's any truth to that, but it would be absolutely brilliant if it was!

If doctor football is sacking himself or promoting himself I think McCann could give us an even bigger laugh than Father Dougal so it's a yes from me.

I think McCann would be decent, actually. But he doesn't play Levein's style of football,so it won't happen.

McIntyre as his assistantJim? No love there if you heard his comments where he interpreted JMc comments after the match today as blaming the relegation on the previous regimes ...

Surely one of their academy of coaches who they were grooming to promote from within is ready by now. That was one of their flagship policies after Budge took over. So far they have had Neilston, Cathro and Levein.....

McCann is an arrogant tosser. He'd be a perfect fit as Hearts boss.

I'd be happy with Levein back upstairs and McCann in the dugout. I can see it being a pretty combustible combination.

If they are determined to go down the ex-player route, I think they'd be better off giving Robertson or Neilson another go at it.

Is McCann not a bit like Cathro in that he'll stubbornly stick with his methods which are clearly not working? If that happens, he'll drive the Jambos nuts. He'll be a bad tempered Cathro. :greengrin

McCann ...... irrelevant, arrogant little tosser. Would love to see him consolidate his nonentity status with a few months under Mrs Budge.:faf:

There's a thread about him taking over on Brokenback.

Hope it's true because he made a right mess at Dundee and think he'd continue down the same road with the Yams.

I saw him in Starbucks on Friday at Craigleith. He was in some gym gear and was glued to his his phone as he ordered. It turned out hisnorder was wrong and after his phone call he had to reorder. I wish I’d paid more attention to his actual call!

Does he live in Edinburgh?

Height of rudeness that.

Hate when you see people ordering or dealing with a cashier and they are on their phone

Can you really see Moyes being the manager or Head Coach and being told what to do by Potter who would be the Director of Football.

Potter to walk away due to health reasons apparently?

Ah right. Would be a coup but he might head to Celtic?

If I’m honest I think McCann is more realistic but you never know!

Does that mean they would win the league in August rather than September with a super duper new manager??

Heard it from a Hearts supporting mate that claimed to be itk

He was 100% convinced but I would treat it as being 50/50 given Potters record for last minute team selections players suddenly playing against us when they are supposedly out long term injured and his determination to actually win something

I would not be surprised if Hearts push for the reintroduction of the East of Scotland Shield

If he stays ,brilliant. If the appoint McCann I’ll be putting a bet on them getting relegated ;)
No way could they afford Moyes .

I've met him on the gowf course and he portrays a different persona altogether. He seems a genuine decent guy when he's away from the day job(s)

Not that that's got to do with anything of course.

He was on the radio last week and mentioned how close he was to Jackie even though they played against each other in old firm matches. Probably something in this. May be a good fit.
