Looking forward to tomorrow’s game, atmosphere in the home stands and team will depend on the Celtic result today. If Celtic win it today, think it will be a bit flat in the home end, and could be to our advantage

Hecky seems to have stuck with the tried and tested most weeks since he came in, wonder if he’s thinking the same, or will he throw in a surprise for us. Need to match them in midfield

I am hopeful. Since last Sunday was a disappointment (even if we did earn a point) we'll be determined to bounce back. I also think McNulty will want to prove himself after the penalty miss.

I've the same thoughts as you :agree:

I've also got a few of my English mates up this weekend and they're going, they'll be at the other end, so hoping it's like a morgue! :greengrin

PS... just to add, they're trying to get to few different grounds this year, they're just properly starting out, done Aberdeen, Celtic, them and us.... us 3 times!

I wonder if we’ll see a couple of changes to the team given we looked a bit fatigued in the latter stages last week after a long run with more or less the same side?

We have quite a number of players that still haven't been given a chance, like Gauld.

I presume Boyle's still injured?

I think Kamberi will be left out tomorrow. Probably for Slivka.

Can’t see him starting a first team game after not getting any first team time In recent weeks ...

Any idea how he has he been performing for reserves? Not heard any rave reviews but I’m a bit out of the loop with the reserves. Be interesting to hear from those who get along to see them as to how he’s been looking. Been fit for a few weeks now.

Yeah, Boyle won’t be back until next season.

He’s not played for the reserves 2/3 weeks or so

Hibs said at the time of Boyle's injury that he would be out until next season.

Tough tough game tomorrow, would rather be heading to Celtic park needing a result than Ibrox

Hopefully today’s result takes the edge off them, they’ve nothing to play for now

No home wins in this fixture over the last 7 games. I expect that to become 8.

Draw keeps us in it. Would be 6 behind with 6 to play for.

Win sets everything up nicely though,

I think our chances of 4th are remote. Nothing to lose tomorrow. I hope we get stuck in about them and come away with at least a point.

Any chance of Gerrard fielding some of the younger players tomorrow now that they don't have anything to play for?

I would say The Rangers are favourites for this game and I don't have an issue with that.

We've done really well there in recent years, but they're 18 points ahead of us for a reason.

I think “unexpected” is fair.

I for one don’t expect us to win, they’ve playing well at the moment.

They are now scoring more freely Ironically without Morellos
Difficult game for us today but with Killie winning yesterday it’s a must win to keep up the chase

Almost prefer this fixture to the away derbies. Usually get a result and goading the loathsome home support is always a laugh.

I bet you felt the same when we pumped them at ibrox last February? Celtic aside, we have the best record at ibrox over the past 10 years.

Me, i'm very optimistic of coming away with a decent result today.

A draw will also keep us in with a chance of 4th place.

Either way we're going to have to win at Rugby Park next week so as long as we pick up something today, a win next week will take it into the last game.

Back then we had a stronger team than now and Rangers had a weaker team than now. I still never expected us to win.

I’m not saying we can’t win or get a result, I’m just saying it’s not to be expected and it would be a good result for us coming away with something.

The last game against them if we’re being honest they battered us and should have been a couple up by half time.

Heck will have learned his lesson I’m sure.

Rangers, who cannot mathematically finish in any position other than 2nd this season still walk out to "Simply the best" with no sense of irony whatsoever.
