Although a home draw with Hearts is never a good result it shows how far we've come under Heckingbottom that this feels like a defeat. It's a sickener. Plenty to build on in the summer and plent positive signs. Onwards and upwards.

And how far the Hearts have fallen. They are rank rotten and should have been well beaten but for Hibs poor finishing. The most one dimensional team in the league.

It's all about the percentages, they just need to keep on hoofing it into the box and at some point they are bound to get lucky.

The context of the game is important.

Results, generally, under Heckingbottom have been excellent.

Today was a really poor one against a really poor team.

I’m glad we have Hecky and they have Levein.

Should have won today but we go again.

Expectation levels have risen as we go into derbies now expecting to win.

We will finish above them which considering the start we had will be pretty impressive.

Disappointing we didn’t win - was a poor hearts team.
Lost count of the number of defensive nerves, balls straight out the park, balls rolling under feet out of play.

Our final ball was frustrating all day when we were close to getting in. At the end of the day the team was setup well and should have won, you can’t miss the pen and free header in front of goal as we did.

Still in with a shout of taking fourth to the last day, shrug this one off and move on

I thought a draw was a fair result to be honest.

Hearts had a load of the ball in the first half and we looked poor. We deserved the lead and should have had it wrapped up but we didn’t, hearts took advantage and finished the game stronger.

:agree:

With pretty much all of that. Lot's of face-palming for aimless passing after good work

Keeps Levein in the Job for another couple of years rather than the possibility of a forward thinking modern type.

A small positive from a disappointing draw against these ****s
