Though lacking the picturesqueness of many Borders towns, which is the legacy of having risen to prominence as a mill town, and having few if any buildings of architectural or aesthetic merit Galashiels does have a TESCO and an ASDA, not to mention a McDonalds and a Wetherspoons ……... So there :na na:

PS … Its actually not a bad place to live :greengrin
