Not a Hearts type player and not popular at Tynecastle . George Craig is a fan. Out of contract in the summer. Would his face fit better at Easter Road?

In all honesty, he's decent but I'd set our sights higher.

He'd struggle to get a seat on the bench for us .

I'd rather have Omeonga and Allan in there.
Djoum caught the eye in the Hanlon derby with that goal in 2016, otherwise these days I don't notice him in games that much.
I have a feeling Heckinhoths priority will be getting a new striker or two.

Djoum is brutal, look at the sitters he missed! No thanks, wouldn't take anybody from that team.

Would take Berra if he wasn’t a Hearts ****. Haring can maybe have a spot on the bench.

Would have agreed previously but speaking to some Jambos after the game on Saturday and their opinion was that Berra was finished and Halkett would be replacing him in the defence next season. Don’t think he’s ever been the same player since his injury earlier in the season

No. He'd be a development team regular. Not good enough for Hibs.

I think there was talk of a French club connection but maybe just his agent stirring things up a bit.

If that is true then that puts him in a financial bracket beyond our means, thankfully.

Is he good enough for Hibs?

No.

I thought the winger did alright too (McCauley?).

He isn’t. He’s there best midfielder by a country mile and would fit in perfectly with our style of play. Hearts are still trying hard to persuade him to sign but I guess he is looking for one more decent contract with higher wages than us or Hearts could offer. Haring has an eye for a goal but is really a centre half trying t9 play in midfield.

:greengrin If that !

Although he was ,as were other signings over there, going to be the best thing since "sliced breed"
A lot of "false dawns" and hype.

When describing those kind of players,Jimmy O'Rourke would say...
"He's goat the hert o' a midgies t*t !"

I do not doubt that hertz have some good players.
The problem appears to be the coach in selection /positions.
That from jambos who attend regularly.

Haring is a far better player than Djoum IMO. Djoum just isn't suited to the Scottish game.

He is. He would be another luxury midfielder who we can't afford to carry. Never seen him control a game or put in a motm performance against us. Infact Andrew shinnie dominated him in the 3-1 replay a few years back and he wasn't the greatest midfielder we have ever had.

Djoum: good player who is wasted at Hearts given their current style of football.
Out of contract in the summer and his agent is trying to get him one last big pay day.
Interesting that George Craig rates him but can see Heckenbottom wanting guys in he knows from down south.
As usual our budget will dictate who we can bring in.

If he isn’t suited to the Scottish game, why is he playing every week for a team in a similar league position to us. He is no world beater but a decent player none the less.

Djoum is the sound the ball makes as it goes miles over the bar when he shoots.
