Never a red. He's slid in quick but it's his trailing leg which barely caught him. Mcnulty might have been lucky had the ref deemed it deliberate but even then that's a booking and nothing more.

Had hearts fans at work already telling me how they were denied 2 stonewall penalties and apparently they were wanting one for Stevenson sliding in and winning the ball :hilarious

:agree: Shocking to think that old man probably has children and grand-children, perhaps even sitting next to him at the match.

Poor sods, no hope for them whatsoever.

Can’t see it obviously but is it the clip of the sorry old gadge I seen on Twitter giving it the get it right up several times before making the sign of the cross?

He was a bit of a fruit loop that one. Very weird, even by hearts standards.

I see it on my twitter page but I can’t get it to share here.
He is odd. Not sure where he was sitting but it looks like he’s in amongst the worst of them so I hope he keeps it discreet! Or at least makes his mind up.

I'm not quite sure the nature of his wind-up. Is he a non-catholic mocking the presumed religion of the Hibs fans in the Roseburn end? Was he displaying his own allegiance to the Catholic faith in a manner which he presumes will send the Hibs fans raging, because he figures we'd be outraged at him being some sort of religious/footballing traitor in a west-coast stylee?

I'm inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt and that he was asking his God for divine intervention in the game because he wasn't entirely confident Craig Levein's gorgie boot boys could do the job on their own - in which case, he'd be proved right.

AND the heart-break/disbelief on the face of the Jambo 'ref' who was clearly hoping for a red !

Yeah. I saw him too. Good God almighty, he looks old enough to be a grandad like me. What a plumb!

...but the result was indeed proof positive that there's a God.
