More concerned about Tory boy Douglas Ross as linesman...

Willie Collum.

Both sets of fans will be saying FFS. His record in derbies ignored Templeton sending off right in front of him (retrospective red card) happened in first half game ended 1-1. Ignored Tattoed lady's red card on McPake (retrospective red card) happened in first half game ended 0-0. Gave us a pen that Craig missed in 2-1 defeat. Awful referee but is one of the chosen ones and can make big mistake after big mistake but continues to get games.

Yup. Coin toss as to who gets the bad decisions in their favour.

Going by previous derbies, I'll go for shot from us going in, hitting the back of the net, being picked up by Berra and carried out - goal not given. He then rugby kicks it up the park to Ikpeazu who is 10 yards offside, throws Hanlon out of the way rather than going past him (no foul given), hits a shot which bounces down onto the line off the crossbar and out, but doesn't even come close to crossing the line. Goal given.

He's an awful referee - too many 'mistakes' to even list them. has been suspiciously nice to us last few games so he might be saving up something special for the derby

What's his day job got to do with it?

I thought he promised to give the assistant refereeing up when he was elected to Westminster after the grief he got about missing votes at Holyrood when he was on SFA/UEFA/FIFA duties? Obviously a man of his word.

Collum's not a bad choice to ref this one. He doesn't show bias, his issues lie elsewhere. As noted above the problem will be with the butchers apron waving toryboy.

How truly blessed we are in Scotland. Here's a ref whose incompetence comes from a heady mix of arrogance, lack of common sense and blindness as opposed to an inherent bias. Thank god for that

That a Conservative and unionist mp might favour a team that routinely has fans with union flags at their ground?

By that logic any official who listens to the Proclaimers should be ruled out of any of our games.

There is a bit of a difference there. Next you'll be saying anyone who eats cabbage shouldn't ref our games!
