On the back of the 'ill fated Hibs chants' thread, how about the one the yams tried in 2006?

'We are unbeatable' they sang.

That went well! :greengrin

That was my favourite one ever.

Not a chant as such, but I could imagine a few of them making that "Who?" sound as the Dens Park announcer heralded the introduction of a little known moustachioed substitute back in 1986.

That name that will haunt the rest of your lives, plums!

Stubbsy blowing a wee kiss over to their main stand at full time while leaving the pitch was delightful

You seem completely on top of your game for being too old for it to be honest 👍

I always find it odd when they sing about going to Europe when they're sitting in 8th or something.

It's a good chant, but the line about we hate the hibs, they make us spew up is so childish and puerile it's unreal.

'If you cannae spell it then here's what it says'

Never fails to inspire me to join in.

Altogether now (I'd better not repeat it here) but you get my drift!

Anyone else do a double-take when they saw the thread title...?

On topic - I'm not sure there was a chant from them, but that year they were playing in the LC at ER (for some reason) and they were losing, chants along the lines of 'diddy wee cup' and then they got back into the game, which they seemed to then want to win. This changed a few times.

One of my most memorable ones is when they had just won the championship in 2015 and the game at Easter Road a week or two later, those orcs singing in the south stand “we are only here for a party”. They brought along party hats, streamers, balloons, inflatable champagne bottles etc.

They ended up losing 2-0 and I remember the east stand chanting towards them “oh this is some f****** party”. 😂

Absolutely brilliant! 👍🏾

I remember them singing "Donald Ford, Donald Ford Give us a Goal" just before Cropley scored the fourth in the 0-7 game.

Ford was a decent striker but I think he only ever scored the once against us?

Always preffered the alternative ending "....they thought they had done it but Celts stole when wee Albert Kidd scored with minutes to go"
