Good news. 👍

Yeah, we definitely need cover at the back so glad we've moved to sign him.

Great news. We need him.

Hopefully this means Hanlon can be given a wee rest now if he isn't fully fit.

Wasn't he the baddie in a James Bond film?

So presume he won’t be involved tomorrow, waiting on international clearance

It said he should be available after the break.

Ok, haven’t watched it yet. Got a reserve game on Monday, would help get him some match practice in

Can he play on Monday without clearance? Maybe as a trialist?

You can play a trialist in a reserve game, Sadiki played as a trialist

You think Sadiki or Stirling might get on the bench tomorrow Billy? Josh Campbell might've had a shout if he wasnt on loan at Airdrie.

Hopefully we have something in place to keep him here if we wish.

Quality signing. Well done Hibs.

More chance of Ben, and if he does, fully deserves it

Is Sadiki not up too much?

Edit- that’s not meant to be a criticism of Stirling, I’ve no idea if he’s any good or not.

He looks like the American version of Stephen Whittaker.

Hope he's decent - good pedigree.

There's always one goes straight for the snidey remark.

Give the guy a break and if you are not pleased apply for the job as recruitment manager.

Let's see what you can do within Hibs budget.

Rant over.

Seems to have been around for ages without ever getting close to making a breakthrough. I remember Lennon talking quite positively about him but never really been seen since. Has he had injuries or anything like that?

Didn’t mean that, Ben’s been performing for a bit now, so should be ahead of Sadiki

Comes across as a very sensible bloke in his interview.
Looks like we will have Spector, Gauld, Johnson and perhaps even Anyepong available for selection at the end of the month.
Whittaker: any news?

Hope he is. Whittaker has been ok and we have had far worse signings over the years. We could do with Whitts back to give us some defensive cover.

Good grief.

Benny Brazil, Brian Hamilton and Joe Tortolano put together didn't get nastiness that bad.

Hopefully he will Phil the gaps at the back and make sure that defensive wall is sound. :cool2::duck:

If folk object to Levein being referred to as Rolf, they’ll do their nut at the one.

Hopefully he can add a bit of composure to our defence.

 not seeing much of that on this thread (yet).

Extra numbers at the back definitely needed, hopefully he steers clear of the treatment table and earns a longer term deal.

He's not doing good. Same chronic injury that isn't something that goes away. His thought process will be more on his quality of life after football than a speedy return not unlike Andy Murray. I hope he can find a way to keep fit for playing some meanigful period of top level football though wouldn't be surprised if he's already played his last game. Hope not but his family and ongoing health obviously comes first

Yeah, Nani plays for them at the moment, and their captain before our very own Spector was Kaka.
