Ajax v Juve
Lpool v Porto
Spurs v Man City
Barca v Utd

Winners of Ajax v Juve play winners of Spurs v City
Liverpool will play Barca in semi

Quite happy that we’ve avoided the big boys of Juve or Barca this round

At least the two English European minnows got drawn together, it at least gives one of them the chance of experiencing a semi final.

United get PSG then Barcelona; City get Schalke then Spurs. They are spawny *****. They even manged to get Burton Albion in a semi-final.

Will be surprised if it’s anything other than a City v Liverpool final.

Coutinho and Suarez back up against Liverpool in the semi final could be interesting however.

Would be nice to see Ajax and Spurs get there, two teams who have not bought their way through the competition. In fact if they both win their quarter final then one of them is guaranteed a place in the final

That could be trouble...

Hopefully not.

Ideal semi final lineup for me:

Ajax v Spurs
Liverpool v Man Utd

What will probably happen:

Juventus v Man City
Liverpool v Barca

Seen the prices for final tickets?? Also each club that makes the final will only receive 17,000 tickets.

That's only half the stadium between the two of them - who actually gets the remainder of the 34,000 tickets? Surely there aren't that many blazers?

The Uefa family get the rest of which some of them sell on the tickets for hugely inflated prices.

The reality is those who can pay massive prices for other half get them. It's an absolute scandal which prevents fans of the two clubs involved from a chance of a ticket.

Doesn't really matter who got who.

Juve will win the CL.

It’s standard practice every CL final.

Not correct. Some are allocated in a ballet, much earlier in the season. For instance if a Hibs fan wanted to go, they could enter the ballot.

Who would then, very often, sell it on, at a massive mark up. It's crazy, the vast majority of tickets should go to the two clubs.

I got all excited when I saw this thread title thinking Hibs had got a late entry!!

On a serious note come on Juve hope they win it!

that's a tad unfair on Man u :dunno:

City and United were both drawn away in the first leg of their ties, but they are not allowed to play at home on the same day or even consecutive nights.
Therefore, as United finished lower in the Premier League last season, their first leg will now be at Old Trafford, with the second leg at the Nou Camp.

but anyway, would be good if Spurs beat the smaller manchester club, unfortunately can't see that happening though

Juve v Spurs
Man u v Liverpool

in the SF's would be decent viewing

There's a poster on here who's been via the ballot IIRC

Only a very small number of tickets are allocated via the ballot. Most of the tickets not allocated to the finalists are snaffled by UEFA.
