Afternoon Hibbies, hope all is well up there.
Little story from down south, but not about Tommy Block this time.
Anyone remember this goalie, who's now looking for a new club?

I remember him showing none of the attributes required of a successful goalkeeper then securing a pretty decent move to Crystal Palace.

Given what has come to light about Willie McKay and his sons, I wonder if any of his moves have been agent driven over anything else?

Came on for Mark Oxley in the 2nd half against Cowdenbeath.
Now 4 years later only Stevenson, Gray & Hanlon remain from the match day squad

Did he not play in a League Cup match against Morton which we lost at ER?

Suspect you're thinking of David Grof - now doing reasonably well in Germany IIRC

I don't remember that.
My only memories of this guy are coming on as a 2nd half sub at Cowdenbeath then playing at Easter Road the following week in a 0-0 against QOS.
Oxley came back from injury the following week and i don't remember seeing the guy play again.

He's very tall. He could be employed fixing the floodlights.

Thanks Steve, IIRC he only played a couple of games when we had a bit of an injury crisis. I always think it's tough on keepers, there's only one position available whereas some players can fill in almost anywhere.

Was this the game when it was absolutely pissing down? I remember a sub goalie coming on that day and he was very nervous or at least that's how he made me feel.
