Would be great if we took a good crowd to Perth.

Tough game but the team are looking better every game since Heck took over.

Hopefully get a well deserved large turnout.

Almost certain there'll be PATG for this one, got our tickets the day it went on sale. Was hoping that we'd win last night and make this a massive 6 pointer, not disappointed.

Ideally plenty of numbers through AND bring your singing voices, could make all the difference.

That's the second time someone has called the game a six pointer.

I thought a six pointer was a game when one team is three points ahead and the other team could go level or six points behind.

On Wednesday, that's not the case. If we lose, we go three points behind. If we win we go three points ahead. The maximum difference is three points.

Am I correct or wrong?

Rather than us being 3 points ahead should we win, we'd be 3 points behind.

That's a 6 point swing

That was the definition but it now just gets used by folk to describe when 2 teams are close to each other in the league.

We gain get 3 points, our top six rivals lose six points.

No, they lose the ability to gain three points on us. There's not a six point swing.

Think there will be a very good turnout of hibbys on Wednesday a bit of the feel good factor coming back again although he’s only been in job a couple of weeks The Heck seems to know what he wants from the team I’m not just saying this but I’ve got a good vibe about this guy he’s not mouthy or flash a big plea for all hibbys this is the start of a era let’s really get behind the team and new management by turning up in big numbers home and away roll on Wednesday Ggtth :flag:

You, sir, are correct in your analysis.

The forthcoming game is not a 6 pointer: important, yes, but definitely not decisive!

I think it is decisive.
If you look at the remaining 5 fixtures for both teams anything other than a Hibs win will see us struggle for top 6 whereas a win will topple the odds our way and see us chasing Hearts down for 5th. A pivotal game.
We are in the North Stand which holds 2,000 and i can see us getting close to filling it on Wednesday.

Pointedly, the point is that we could end the game 3 points ahead or 3 points behind or level on points. A pointed case in point - a point wouldn’t be a bad result.

But only three points between the teams. It's not a six pointer. Anyway, who cares what it's called, it's now the most important game of the season.

danhibees1875

It is a 6 pointer, but every game is. It's just a crucial game in the race for top 6 because they're one of the other teams looking to get ahead of us.

There is a six point difference between us being ahead by three and them being ahead by three. It's not the points total, it's the relative positions of the two teams that makes it a six pointer.

Anyway, let's just win on Wednesday and all the arithmetic will be academic.

Thats the last train to Edinburgh, calls at all stations via Dunfermline, you can change at Markinch for a quicker service to Edinburgh, saves you around 20 minutes.

I think that you need to have kids with you to get into the West stand. North Y = yellow seats. North B = blue seats. Per the photos of the ground the blue ones are the most central.
