It's been -16C this week.

Is it clinically safe to be wearing a kilt in those temps?

48p a pint and our 4 star hotel is £20 a night. Canny wait!

Sounds like the fitba equivalent of TV series "Life on Mars". Dalglish & Jordan up front, with Hartford & Gemmill pulling the strings in midfield, and Notts Forest winger John Robertson supplying the crosses?

If only eh!

Here's the google maps directions from the Leith San Siro, if it helps. A mere 3,890 miles.

Never knew this fixture was on cos I have zero interest in the national team.
Where's it getting played?
If it's Astana then I wouldn't go there if you paid me, what a boring and sanitised place that is.
Where as if the game was played in Almaty then even I might be tempted to go. Stunningly beautiful, historic and just such an interesting place.
Why the Kazakhs moved the capital from the Edinburgh of Central Asia to some glorified East Kilbride in the middle of nowhere I will never know.

Well the obvious reason is that keeps the neighbourhood of the nice city free of politicians and lobbyists and hangers on and the whole degenerate circus that follows them, by displacing them to some horrific soul-deadened purpose-built new town. It seems to have worked for Australia and Brazil, where the people seem a bit happier for it, and possibly the politicians are under the delusion that the stale, centrally-planned enclave they're kept in is for their benefit. Maybe we can tart up Livingston or Glenrothes with a couple of buildings, a new road and a bit of paint and send the Scottish Government over there...

admit it you booked flights, accommodation and a bought a new kilt soon as the draw was made.... you realised that you didnt want to appear too keen when posting 2nd to the OP on a Scotland international thread and came on all disinterested and posted the above.

To ensure the country could be more easily held together: https://www.spectator.co.uk/2019/02/kazakhstan-is-about-the-size-of-europe-but-we-know-almost-nothing-about-it/

I visited Almaty and Shymkent in summer 2010 and had a great time in both.
