Hearts or the Hertz. "Yam" is a word that is never used outside of here and I can't be doing with it.

I've heard loads of people I know, including myself who call them simply "they c***s".

I like "Sparryheids", as coined by I. Welsh.

Yammity Yam Yams.

This nickname was coined during the Romanov dynasty and was very apt. Non-sentient tubers had more of a clue what was happening than those supporters.

But it is fading from use and perhaps will always be associated with a specific time.

Nae idea about the origins but most of my Hibs supporting circle of mates have been using the yam term since well before agent Romanov's mission was started and completed.

Whatever the history, ugly maroon mis shapen vegetable seems to fit the bill.

Hearts. They mean no more and no less to me than any other team. Giving them a disrespectful nickname might make their supporters think that they have done something that somehow matters to me.
