That’s the least worst option when the game is televised. Pleased with that one, atmosphere should be good.

Bit crap that most folk who can't make the game will have to take out a subscription to watch it at home.

Can I take out a one-game-only sub on HibsTV, as I'll be in that abroad?

How's it crap? Before it was announced it was being televised everybody who couldn't make the game would not have seen anything.

As for those who could make it but want to choose not to because its not on your season ticket how about paying for a ticket instead of a one off subscription and actual support the club and make your presence felt?

No one is forced to take out a subscription, it’ll be on the radio too and there’s always the pub! :greengrin

Best part is we're the first tie so we can watch the rest of the games knowing who we want to win, i.e. the strongest possible teams if we're out and the weakest if we're in.

Why would we want the strongest teams to win if we're out? I'm all for seeing Partick Thistle or Dundee United give The Usual Suspects a kicking if we're papped out of the cup.

Bet they said that when we were drawn against Dundee Utd in 2016.

Stronngest teams possible please. I don't care how they go out, as long as they go out.

Doesn’t matter if we go out as Celtic will nap it easily.

Hearts are a 7:05 kick off. Delightful stuff. Hope it stops hundreds of them being able to make it.

Not too sure about strolling it! Thistle are unbeaten since the turn of the year. That included away games to utd and Inverness I'm sure. Be trickier than a lot of folk think.

Probably not too many. As its the Cup Celtic will get the full South leaving just under 3000 for the non season ticket holders

Nah its a ***** kick-off time regardless of what team it is. It's Hertz this time but could well be us next season. I thought the Highland Derby was a one-off but obviously not. Monday night games can GTF.

Happy with ours though

Obviously not. In reality only time we could have made it was if it was the Monday game. It's not so it's the pub

Different strokes for different folks but personally I detest tea time KOs. When are you supposed to eat? I'll probably go to a pub that sells food pre match but that interferes with my drinking. I know it's not popular but I prefer an early KO or the more popular evening KO to the tea time slot.
