Ha ha. The keeper hammers the ball with all his might... to the 18 yard line! 😂

I’ve had that happen to my team at the back pitches at Peffermill before. Was a long pointless half where I don’t think we made it into the oppositions half more than a couple of times.

Are you related to Colin Calderwood?

Magic. Just about to board a flight back from Birmingham to Edinburgh too.

This could be a bumpy one.

Which begs the question.....why did they not take a short goal kick?

Surely you play the conditions??

No, not really.

My brother flew back into Edinburgh yesterday and was petrified so I was fearing the worst (he can actually fly planes and isn't easily scared).

I remember Ronnie Simpson kicking from hand and the ball blowing back over his head for a corner. Also on radio today saying that Motherwells Chris McCart cleared the ball into the air and it blew back over his head and the keeper caught it and an indirect free kick was awarded to the opposition.

Unless you’ve been to Gayfield when the weather is “Arbroathian”, it is difficult to comprehend how bad it can be.

Indeed. I’ve been there when waves were breaking over the terracing. On a peaceful sunny day however, it’s a lovely spot for fitbaw
