View Full Version : Will you be there today ?

As it say’s on the tin. Will you be there today? Despite the current malaise surrounding the club and obviously having looked out the window, the weather? I’ll be taking up my usual place in the East Stand.

We need to get behind the team, it won’t be an easy game but I think we’ll scrape through to the next round. Staying in the cup is essential. C’mon Hibs :flag:

Absolutely and hoping for a change in attitude, atmosphere and fortunes, we need to move on from the Lennon era and move forward this game is the ideal opportunity to do just that, if the players get back to being professionals and do their jobs for 90 minutes, we can kick start the rest of the season, but if we dont its going be a dire struggle for the rest of it, hopefully staying away from relegation battles.
Come on Hibs give us a performance today.

I agree, time to move on from the Lennon crisis or whatever you want to call it? Time for some positivity. The players really need to step up today and not give Raith Rovers a sniff of getting into the next round. A couple of quick fire goals early doors would be nice but I’d take a solitary goal in the 93rd minute if it meant we march onto the next round. C’mon Hibs :flag:

Yep, worked right through and busy when the rugby crowd came out too, it's called being self employed and working when it's busy, funny I sometimes don't get to go to a Friday night game for that same reason but I'll still buy my season ticket and get to nearly all league games when I can. Why? she was questioning why I wasn't at the game when the rugby was on and said another taxi driver went out after the match, I took that as a dig from her, if you don't mind I don't have to justify to anyone why I worked instead of going to a football match. Maybe like yesterday I picked my wife up from her work at 6pm and then went to see my son, his fiancee and my 6 month old granddaughter for dinner, hence why I worked all through the afternoon and didn't go to the game but then again I maybe should've told everyone on here 1st so I could get the ok to miss the game eh?

I didn’t like the attendance on Saturday either. But each of us on here can make their own choices ..I tend to go to most games, but I never have an issue if someone chooses to do something else with their day - that’s their prerogative .

I wonder if Hibs fans act more / quicker proportionately than other clubs. I have been pleasantly surprised by the levels of support in the last two season - a bit higher than I anticipated. Yet, equally, I have been a little surprised how deep it dropped off recently when things get tougher ...

It would be good if we all stuck behind the team when they need it most - but I can understand when people are less
Motivated to do so..

are we quicker to build support as it gets good and also quicker to reduce as it gets tough ?
