We complain here when there’s massive disruption due to heavy snow but, for God’s sake they’re talking about Armageddon after up to 20cms of snow.

Are you trying to say that there are plenty of snowflakes in England?

Thats what they do...complain!
Next it'll be the wind in spring then the heat in summer. All backed up by BBC correspondents on scene. Pathetic!

Kids and the wife (a teacher) have all been off today.

TBH it fair came down last night. Roads in Chippenham (my town) were pretty mental. I have a laptop, so can easily work from home.

Funnily enough the reporter on the BBC this morning was live from Chippenham.

Are you seriously suggesting that if 8 inches of snow fell across the central belt of Scotland that it wouldn't bring us to a halt?
Or have you confused cm with mm?

No confusion about metric. I’m willing to bet that the conditions they’re ‘armageddoning’ about are nothing like the bad weather we have had over the past few years.

Ps It was eight inches at worst. A lot of the footage showed about four or five inches and it was the end of the world.

We definately had about 7 to 8 inches. Started at 2130 last night and kept on until about 16:00 today.

It doesn’t get above freezing until Sunday afternoon.

Sky news has just reported a village has run out of sledges and schools are closed 🤨🤨🤨. The final line in the report was "this is just winter doing what winter does" Exactly! So why the constant obsession year after year?

You have to hand it to Nathan Rao. His alarmist, over the top style articles over the last few years have now been embraced by the msm. The amount of airtime last night for a few inches of snow 'beggars belief'
