I’d imagine that refreshing threads isn’t helping. I-spy is the answer.

PMs can use the I-spy function which saves you having to refresh.

Guests are out and have been for some time but almost every single registered member who is ‘active’ is trying to view threads, refresh pages and post at the moment.

The next stage would be restricting access to PMs only and we really only try to do that as a last resort. Unfortunately it’s one of about 3 or 4 nights a season where the volume of traffic becomes difficult.
