From what I’ve heard it may be that we’ve hit a snag, that being Lennon. He was quite keen while Lennon was here maybe not so keen now.

I'd be very surprised tbh. Lennon could quite conceivably been away in the summer anyway. He's signing for the club, not the manager.

By no means I’m saying it’s off but Lennon was a huge part of it. He’s a boyhood Celtic fan

Is this thread a massive whoosh. This deal has been getting talked about since yesterday on the transfer thread.

So I believe. I'm just sure that he would've done his homework and known Lennon would not be his manager for the duration of his contract.

No, it's a massive "that other thread is a car crash so I'm posting here instead"

Amazingly yes

With transport links (and the cost of housing in London) Reading is now considered a “commuter town” of London

I commute daily from 40 miles and have colleagues who commute daily from Swindon!

Of course it is. Livingston is about 20 miles from me and I would class it as close

Sounds like we really want him, and it looks like he really want to come here.

Now if we cab just get a manager in before the end of the transfer window as well :)

It's closer than say trying to get to Crystal Palace in South London from the city of London as in the time it would take to drive.

So yes 26 miles is a short London commute these days.
