Said it in another thread. His 2 saves in the second half were exceptional. The one in the first half was crucial, stopped us going 2-0 down. As good as the team’s second half display was, Rocky was consistent throughout the game and my MOTM.

As they say goals saved are sometimes as important as goals scored and today proved that!!

Some poor passes first half that put us in trouble and could have cost a goal when he came charging out but a number of excellent saves.

I'd say we're quite well off in that position now, with Marciano and Bogdan.

Compare that to some of the numpties we've had in the fairly recent past.

Both quality keepers. Marciano is a fantastic shot stopper. Bogdan is more assertive when leaving the box and also has better distribution imo. Both better than any keeper we've had in recent years.

i agree its hard to believe that he is allowed to wear that strip when we are playing in very similar colours, considering there is a clash of strips when we play celtic and we are both playing in our traditional jerseys.

Watching on TV it was hard to see any difference, ridiculous he was allowed to wear it, you get referees who are utter pedants, but they allow something so blatant to go.

Agreed he is a good shot stopper but his distribution from the ground is far too casual and rarely finds a team mate because he allows the opposition to close him down and is then hurried into hoofing it.

I’ll second that. A very poor kicker of the ball and often gets us into trouble. He made up for his mistakes with a couple of great saves but I prefer Bogdan.

Two very good keepers at the club just now. Incredible saves from Ofir today, I don't think there are many keepers in the league capable of his acrobatics and reactions.

That being said, there aren't many keepers in the league with a worse kicking technique. He really is disastrously bad on the ball/when rushing out of his box and it is a matter of time until it costs us, his red card against Saints springs to mind.

Still, probably the best shot stopper in Scotland, no player is perfect.
