If they are, it's the sensible approach.

If anyone wants a rushed, not well thought through and overly emotional statement, then The Rangers do it quite well :)

I wonder who we'll send out for the press stuff after the game?

The club are going to have to deal with questions from the media very soon so I'm surprised they haven't mentioned anything more than that. Right now there is not even official confirmation Lennon is suspended.

I assume it's the person you've asked who is being accused of brutal chat.

I'm not sure what people wanted from the statement (I say that, it seems a minority who are complaining). The final sentence sums it up and should be something we're all doing, full focus on tomorrow.

Eddie is in his dream job and no way would he walk out even in 'solidarity' - he is too intelligent a man too.

I said a few weeks back that Lennon should have taken time out and Grant Murray should have been interim. I'm certain GM has also turned down offers to stay at Hibs but he is good at his job and comfortable at the club.

Very wise and stable decision making from the club :aok: let's back them and win the 3 points tomorrow.

For all the talk of the backroom team standing by Lennon, I couldn’t see these two not being in charge tomorrow.

May has a fairly senior position and isn’t really part of the ‘backroom’ team. And without knowing his bank balance I’m not sure Murray was ever likely to be in a position to walk out on his job, which is a good job.

Tbh apart from Lennon and Parker who else is there? Alan Combe is a goalkeeping coach who has been here before Lennon even arrived

Problem is, that if they have backed Lennon and not the players(after alleged incidents) then it may be a pretty 'frosty' dressing room tomorrow.

I've no idea if May & Murray have taken Lennon's side against the players. Like most of the stuff in the last 24 hours, it is conjecture for us fans.

I'm sure we'll get 100% effort from the players tomorrow though. They'll want to show us that, whatever the problems, they aren't at the root of them.

I never said I did, Lennon went yesterday afternoon it took the club more than 24 hours to make their statement. If May and Grant was the obvious stand ins for tomorrow surely this could have been announced earlier or as I said did they need a little persuading. After all it's a complete mess

Unlikely - I’d imagine this issue is the biggest at the club at the moment (I hope it is anyway!).

As it is all we know is that Murray and May are in charge tomorrow but not why. We don’t know if Lennon’s ill, sacked, resigned, suspended, on holiday or just can’t be arsed.

I think we can rule out illness and holiday as the reasons for his absence, otherwise Parker would be in charge.
