For a chance to win one of only 150 copies of What Kept You Hibs, by James Stephen (available to buy at Amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/What-Kept-You-Hibs-Hibernian-ebook/dp/B07LGD6P21/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1548276191&sr=8-9&keywords=hibs+books we have another first scorer competition.
All you have to do is post, on this thread, who you think the first Hibernian goalscorer will be when we take on St Mirren in the League on Sunday 27th January. Kick-off is 13:30pm. You must also add a time in whole minutes (1-90) to your selected player and this goal time will act as a tie-breaker. You don't need to get the time spot-on - the nearest guess is good enough.
...One entry per registered member. We won't be accepting any 'if that time is taken, give me the next minute up or down' (or similar) entries. We'll take your first answer.
...If you happen to inadvertently take two or more different guesses, we'll take your first answer.
...Own goals of*any sort*- even for Hibs - do not count for the purposes of this competition. It is the*first Hibs player to score for Hibs*we're looking for.
...Guesses such as 45+2 or 93 won't count. 45 or 90 will include any time added on at the end of any half.
...Scorer and time will be taken from the match report on the BBC Sport website.
...In the case of any identical correct guess being made by two or more entrants, the winner will be the earliest correct/nearest guess posted.
...In the event of 2 guesses being the same amount of time either side of the actual figure, the lower time will win.
...Our decision is final.
...Make sure no-one else has already taken your selections because, if two or more people select an identical winning combination, the earliest one posted will count.
...If no player scores, or there are only own goals, or no-one selects the first scorer, the prize will be used for another competition.
...Guesses of 'no goals' or similar will be virtually shredded.
Get your entry in early, no entries will be accepted after kick off.
Good luck and a big thank you to James Stephens for donating the prize.
