That would be good. He really came onto a game at the end of last season. Just about as injury prone as Agyepong though.

Preston must love having an outlet for their left wing rejects.

Would be absolutely delighted with this. Loved Brandon, was a joy to watch.

Only his bad one against Hearts (whilst fully fit) is what springs to mind? Did he have more with us or has he been getting injured elsewhere?

Quality player that would be a very useful addition.

His hamstring went in the second win at Ibrox last Feb, and he missed a few weeks. Still made 30 appearances for us though, and would take him in a heartbeat.

Another good spell could maybe see him come permanently - something that seemed near impossible last season.

Got injured in the first few minutes of our 2-1 win at Ibrox. Was out for several weeks after that.

Cant see it happening unfortunately, Would be delighted if true. Would be even better if we could make it permanent even if we put a relatively low buy out clause in the contract

He’s out of contract at the end of the season apparently. I’d like to see us in talks with him now regarding next season whether he’s coming or not.

If we end up with Flo, Cummings, Barker and Mallan at the club, there'll be some pagger over the hairdryers after training.

It would be a very pleasing turn if events. Could Horgan play wide right?

He has 18 months left on his contract, confirmed here (https://www.mancity.com/news/first%20team/first%20team%20news/2015/august/brandon%20barker%20signs%20new%205%20year%20deal).

My mistake as well. I'll take him for six months anyway! I'm sure City would release him if he were to do well and wanted to stay at the end of it.

He'll fit right back in to this season's Hibs team then.

I’m a fan of Barker but a lot of the time I think he flattered to deceive, he would carry the ball about 40 yards before losing it.

He was coming onto a game at the end of the season but wasn’t a starter.

Would like him back as he has pace and skill in abundance, hopefully with a good run we would see the best out of him.

That's his natural position, he's been shoe horned in on the left to fit him in with Boyle and Slivka

Barker gives defenders a heachache which leads to space opening up for others.

What does?

Cutting on to his right hand side and not having the confidence to beat a man on the left coupled with very poor delivery.

I would take that every day of the week over shelling the ball the length of the park to a single centre forward who doesn't have the physicality to win a first ball and no one to help him fight for he second ball. If we had Barker getting fouled high up the pitch, then Mallan may get more opportunities to do what we bought him in for.

He wasn't a starter because he was injured for two months between Feb and April.

Running 40 yards in itself is good, an out ball who can get teams up the park quickly is extremely valuable. Barer has much more than that to his game though.

Even the best players in the world don't have an end product all the time. Players like Barker can wear the opposition down over the course of a game though, tire them out and create space for others. There might not be a goal or an assist, but he plays a huge part in hurting the opposition. A player who constantly runs at defenders, as Barker does, is their worst nightmare.

Barker made 30 appearances, had a couple of injuries.

Agyepong has made six appearances so far. No comparison.
