As a sort of antidote to the "Good News Stories" thread, we should probably have the one place where we can have all of the genuine "WTF is wrong with the human race" stories.

That is absolutely horrific.

And then you remember Saville. :bitchy:

Only if they have their DNA on file somewhere though? First place to start is to test all the staff or regular visitors, but if it's not one of them, could be toiling. Might be a staff member who has left or a one time visitor or anything.

What if it was semen injected by a third party?

You would hope they appeal to everyone who has had access to come forward and volunteer their dna. Anyone refusing would be prime suspect.

Or just within their right not to incriminate themselves without evidence. Can the Police sopena someones DNA?

Find some evidence or bolt.

Just playing devils advocate BTW. This is a truely horrific crime.

That does kind of raise the question as to where, how and why the third party came into possession of someone else's sperm in order to inject it.

It's a John Grisham/Black Mirror scenario, I grant you.

But it's a defence that you could see being made. "Yup, it's mine. But prove that I put it there....."

Is this not a separate case? I thought the woman in one was comatose, the woman in this story was just severely mentally disabled?

It's the same case, thankfully.

It's just the reporting of the woman's condition is slightly different, but she's barely aware of anything.

Court documents state that the woman is "not alert" and requires a "maximum level of care", the Arizona Republic reported.
