Held in Glasgow this year, about to start on sky sports 👍 first game ROW v NI starting now.

Scotland KO at 20.05.

Dean shiels, Colin Murdock & owain tudor-jones all involved from a purely hibs perspective (Robert pires as well 😉) but some great names involved.

How many of the ROI team are actually from Ireland? 2, maybe 3?

Probably more than their current side though.

Think I will give it a miss. That Scotland squad is just on old boys, old firm select to see tickets to the Weedgie hoards.
Im thinking they will be given the run around by probably everybody.

Still can't believe Fenlon signed him when it was common knowledge that his knee was completely knackered.

Inverness really did have some weird and not so wonderful players/managers that excelled there but flopped everywhere else. Strange.

Scotland look atrocious here. Not a surprise when NI have Shiels who’s still playing and McCourt who only retired in the summer while we have guys who retired 10+ years ago.

Some of the boys from other country's have played more professional football this season than Scott Allan! Scotland should have got Gaz and Deeks involved.

Anyone know what relationship Tim Dittmer has with Ireland?

I understand he has a goalkeeping job with the FA but he's the only one taking part who doesn't have his own wikipedia page so I'm not sure he was ever even a professional player.

He played for Ireland U19s but didn’t play professionally. I saw him play 20 odd games for Leigh RMI in the Conference North which he doubled up as goalkeeping coach at Liverpool. He’s now the head of goalkeeping for the (English) FA. Another ex-Leigh RMI player in Steve Jones is playing for Northern Ireland.

Enjoying seeing which players have kept in shape and which have let themselves go a bit since retiring!

Too Crowded in the main. Overweight legends kinda fitting for the weege - did they bring on Salft and Vinegar for half time :)
Nephews were amazed how many spectators were in attendance.

From questions why did Scotland play for a draw against ROW? And who won it

Scotland needed a win to make the final, played defensively to with the aim of going for it, if not winning, in the last 7-5 minutes. Lost our best players in Ferguson and McCulloch to injury and didn't have the quality to get the goal.

England won 3-2 in the final v ROW.
