Being built up beyond all normal levels by Sky, but will have a massive bearing on which team of Harlem Globetrotters wins this years overhyped league of the year.

How do we reckon it will pan out tonight?

The only other rival for the tag is PSG. Juve have already lost to a poor M Utd team. Madrid fourth in La Liga and Barca not the same team they once were.

Never really had 'an English team' per se. but mind my parents buying me a Liverpool t-shirt and a Newcastle top at some point. So with that it's Liverpool for me... Plus Klopp is infectious. I like to see the good guys rewarded in life.

Also the last time this fixture played out it was billed as the best thing since sliced bread and ended in a horrible to watch 0-0 draw.

Any time I watch a game from the EPL it turns out to be a snoozefest so the rest of you should be safe to do something more interesting.

I think there have been several outstanding games in the EPL this season, especially amongst the top six and usually with lots of goals.

In part that reflects tactical changes - the football journalist and writer Jonathan Wilson describes the reasons for that well and is Googleable.

Tonight's game started very lively, for sure. It has the feel of two heavyweight boxers, one taking a few swings and then the other responding.

It's the only technical system that's required as far as I'm concerned. Was it in or not? Leave the ref to decide everything else.

Man City are fast becoming the EPLs celtic.

Domestically dominant despite not being particularly impressive. Fans only turn out for the big games, most of the time its the emptihad a bit like darkheid.
European success is marginal despite the pundits in the UK pretty much drooling over them and overall just a really dislikable side.

All these Liverpool fans who have absolutely nothing to do with Liverpool are everything that’s wrong with the game. It’s sad that people have to put money in on an industrial scale just to even things up and supply a bit of competition.

I don’t know how anyone can judge harshly after watching City recently. It’s pure football and “fans” of the smaller teams like Liverpool and United should be applauding and hoping they get there one day.
