A good friend of my Dads and equally good Hibby died tonight whilst watching on TV five minutes from the end . if only we could have done it for you Alan Freeman. Magdalene and Porty boy Rip.

I knew Alan and was shocked to hear of his condition. Always spoke about the Hibs. He'll be missed!!!

I recognise the name, but not sure if I knew him prior to leaving Edinburgh 44 years ago.

In any event, condolences to his family and friends.

Sorry to hear that mate and commiserations to the family. I didn't know the guy but hearing this puts things into perspective.
