Mackie mentioned it being his hamstring in his post match interview.

Lennon mentions the injury and goes from not knowing to maybe 4-6 weeks

He seemed to pull his hamstring whilst twisting his body trying to get the pass through. he pulled up then kept going before going to ground.

Not like him to go down at all so it must have been painfull when he was taken off so quickly.

Lennon says he will be out for a while.

He is a quick healer so heres to a good recovery for him.

I love Lewis. He'll be back. But Mackie is a more than decent replacement.

Lewis has seen off so many pretenders to his crown that it’s a bit surreal to think we might have genuine competition from within.

Sean Mackie looks the part. I’d like to see him stuck to the flanks and see if he can offer genuine width though. If he keeps cutting inside all the time he won’t make a great left back.

I thought Mackie got us higher up the park today when he came on and his cross for the goal was asking to be attacked and Darren duly obliged.

A good prospect, I would cautiously suggest.

Is this the first time he’s been out injured ?

Typical Lewie tho - choosing the most efficient period to get injured

Haha I was thinking the same. Also at a rare time when it seems we have an adequate replacement

Who knows - Mackie's crossing could well be the difference in the derby

Our last ever game at Love Street (I think). Tommy Craig was in charge as Collins had left. Lewis went down and landed in a big puddle and never moved so you knew it was serious. Can't remember how long he was out for though.

Lewis is the better defender. Sean better going forward.

I may have erased that period from my memory...!

Way too early to say. At the moment Lewis remains first choice but I’m delighted that Mackie is coming through. He may not end up a left back at all. He might prove to be a better left back.

At least Lewis sticks to the touchline. I’d like to see if Mackie can do the same.

Maybe Sean better suited to wing back which I am assuming he will play tomorrow. What a ball for the equaliser at Ibrox quality.

And Sir David Gray back too. Cannot understand why Steven Whittaker is keeping him out. We need SDG's drive on the park IMO

Gray is a strange one but maybe he's not fully fit enough for starting a match yet :dunno: He's not played a lot of football lately
