Merry Christmas.

There is a programme on Sky today with best Edinburgh Derby goals. It is better than the Queen’s Speech!!

The best Hibs one I have seen was probably El Alagui's consolation at Tynie a few years ago, or Allan's opener last season.

Being purely objective, the best derby goal I've ever seen was probably Ozturk's.

Hit and hope. Riordan's 40 yard effort past Gordon was better.

That Leigh Griffiths free kick has to be the best goal of the lot

El Alagui's seemed to be overlooked because we lost the game. Didn't even feature in the programme. It was a moment of class. Thought we had the real deal upfront after his start to the season.

I remember thinking at the time that Djoum's goal in the 2-2 goal was one hell of a strike.

Funnily enough, I've never seen it since.

Some of the goals in the 6-2 game were cracking team goals.

Latapy's in the 6-2 game and Riordan's at Easter Road past Craig Gordon are my two votes.

Good Edinburgh Derby content on Sky this week. That show with Yogi and Mixu on Friday was really good. I can’t wait for part 2 on Friday.

Hit and hope. Riordan's 40 yard effort past Gordon was better.

I still feel his left footed strike at the FF end was a far better strike than his right footed one at the other end. Far less coverage but the angle he had to score from was extraordinary.

Deano Hanlon or that free kick. The free kick was like waiting for your lady to give birth, ****ting yourself then it happens, joy relief and never in doubt.

LG freekick was an unbelievable strike from distance - straight into the top corner.

Many better Hibs goal than the goal you mention before - Riordan, Latapy to name a few!

Willie Hamilton’s goal from a near impossible angle which he hammered into the roof of the Hearts net at Tynecastle in the sixties.

Without considering significance of the goals I’d say Griffiths free kick at Tynie closely followed by Latapy in the 6-2.

Any goal scored in the last minute where the diets don’t have a chance to come back and can start preparing their excuses good enough for me but even sweeter at Tyniecastle

Born in 1970 so missed the 0-7.

For what it did for our club Hanlon’s equaliser for me is unmatchable. That’s the moment the balance of power between us & them switched. Leaving Tynie that day we knew we had them in the replay but more significantly was the way it and the subsequent Cup win changed the psychology of both sets of fans.

Enjoyed Andrew Shinnie’s goal in the 3-1 a lot. It really should’ve led to a pumping but sadly the linesman flagged McGregor’s fair header and they got a penalty bundled in on the third attempt.

Ulysses de last Cruz first one of his double sticks in my mind.great strike.

I was about 14 and I used to be allowed to stick a first scorer scorecast on and I said de la cruz and 2 1. Old man told me to bolt as DLC would never scored. Canny mind how much it was but sure it was over a 100 quid.
