Why does Kevin Thomson sound like hes squeezing out a ***** while talking? Awful commentator. Unfortunately a rangers win keeps us 7th. Anything else we are back to 8th.

Are they much better than Aberdeen? They've played each other twice this season and it's been one draw and a Aberdeen victory. I think it's 2 points between them now.

Aberdeen have also already reached a cup final again this season.

Edit - actually think they've played each other 3 times this season and Aberdeen have won twice and drew once.

Unfortunately, Everton ARE mugs. Despite early season optimism, they have lapsed back into the old failings. They have a large squad of average performers.

Importantly, they lack a central figure to boss the side when the chips are down. Gomes is an outstanding player but he's no team leader. The obvious candidate, Sigurdsson, is too quick to hang his head and hide.

Everton are supposed to have tons of cash these days. It's time someone spent it wisely. They'll forever be "best of the rest" otherwise.

That very much sounds like it was expressed by someone with more than a Toffee slant.

They got hammered today but they arent a bad side, generally improved on last season I;'d say but still way off the top 6 sides but i think good times may be ahead for Everton, the financial backing is there (probably after the new stadium as far as the team is concerned).

They have been better to watch this year certainly but they're way behind the top six, who have players who can control and pass off at speed and then make themselves available. Everton don't have a quality striker either which is extraordinary.

Yeah, I've always liked the Toffees since the sixties when they were a glamour team. Not being a Merseysider though, I can sit back and admire LFC and their achievements too.

Very impressive from Tottenham again. They will be hoping everyone keeps talking about Liverpool and they just get on with it quietly. You’d expect Man City and/or Chelsea to get their act together at some point, but it should be an interesting race all the same.

I've watched them a fair bit and they've ridden their luck in a few games . I actually think they've been less impressive than most of last season going forward. The difference is they're not conceding goals. More like Liverpool side of the seventies than Klopps normal style. When they click as an attacking force I think they could be the best club side in the world.

Dylan got a few minutes as a sub today for Sunderland infront of 46,000 at the Stadium of Light against Bradford. Decent numbers for a third tier match. Sunderland won 1-0.

Does he start often? Wonder if they’d fancy loaning him back if he doesn’t...
