I've decided to post this question on behalf of Mrs Keekaboo, who just asked me the following.

"If it's a draw, do they still get any points?"

Any advice you can give her on this matter would be greatly appreciated

Cheers

p.s. This is her viewpoint:

"Ah don't think they deserve any, especially if it's nil-nil. They've not done enough to deserve a point"

I think it’s worth giving the Mrs Keekaboo system a chance:

0 points for a nil–nil draw
Half a point for a score draw
10 points for a win, plus bonus points equal to the margin of victory
−5 points for a defeat
If you lose and don’t score you get kicked out the league

Should be:

10 points for a win
-5 for a draw
-10 for a loss

For every 3 goals you score in a win you get 2 bonus points.

The attacking football would be sublime.

I’ve always thought no points for a 0-0 would set up some exciting final 10 minutes tbh.

It's a good point actually. :agree:

Surely it's extra time follwed by penalties if it's still tied?
