Well done to the laddie, here’s hoping he continues his progress.

I must admit that this is the first I’ve heard of the player? Really need to get to more development games to get a better understanding of our young talent. Sounds like a promising one anyway.

Ridiculously quick player who is still only 17 and has lots of potential

Hasn’t played too much in the development team, but started last Monday
He’s a 2001 birthday so still very young. Small lad but highly skilled
Hibs much have great hopes that he can make it, with this extension

Not really relevant i suppose but where is he (or is his family) from?

I always assumed he was French going by the name but that photo of him looks Indonesian maybe?

This is the young lad I posted about years ago on here when I watched him in kids/youth trials and was blown away by his skill at that age. I recall Greg Miller pointing him out and both us hoping he was picked up by Hibs - even then he has a real standout (in his coloured/pink boots too :greengrin). Think he ended up playing out at Newcraighall Leith Vics as a youngster. Glad he has progressed really well and interesting that we have given him a 3 year deal - they must rate this kid highly. Great stuff :aok:

Tremendous potential, watched him many times and so impressively quick and tricky. Smart recruiting IMO.

To shoot or not to shoot? That is the question.

French football has benefitted from France's colonial past.

A lot of French players are sons/descendants of migrants from former colonies.

Head of Academy Coaching Eddie May and Head of Football Operations Eddie May were both keen to keep him at the club, which Yrik says has helped boost his confidence, and he also spoke about the role Grant Murray has played.

There's only two Eddie Mays...

All the more reason to be gutted about Darien; Roman Torres could have been playing for Scotland.

From Manila, Philippines, I work beside his dad, Ricky is brilliant guy, pleasant and hard working, if his laddie has the same attitude in football then he will do well
