Currently 2-1 to Villa all action first half.
Ref just came on to start 2nd half and made the sign of the cross as he ran on.
Each to their own, but a display of faith that just could not be tolerated in beautiful old enlightened Scotland. Scary.

He's one of those players that some love and some hate, but that goal was class.

What a reaction too?

Since Villa won without McGinn today can we have him back on loan please?

Hutton for Scotland? Haha some goal that. Gutted mcginn wasn't playing but great watch. Birmingham hit the post at 1-0 and villa score shortly after. Game defining moment.

Seen plenty people cross themselves on a football pitch in Scotland... strange comment.

Yep, including rangers players. Amoruso done so as Captain every game.

In fact, it might be the comment on the ref never crossing themselves coming into the pitch which lets face it would never happen. For reasons of bigotry that would be used by both the divides.

I watched the game hoping to see McGinn play, I was gutted to hear before the game that he was out with a calve injury, anyway it was a great game and good to see Villa winning, they are doing well at the moment I think that was their third win on the bounce, no doubt SJM will be back playing when he recovers, is there any truth in the claim that we get 2 million if they get promoted to the premiership and that there's a15% sell on clause on the his contract?

The game was on in a pub we had lunch in earlier and while I only caught bits and pieces of the first hour or so you can see that when Villa are on song with the fans behind them they're a really big club - and now very much back in the promotion hunt. Good decision by McGinn to go there.

true..that is unfortunately a reflection on Scottish attitudes than the act itself . Which I assume is your point......A deeply personal act..that some less enlightened people would take offence to.
