Hearts maybe, The Rangers do not look anything special IMO or any better worse, Killie seem to be much the same but we will see them on Saturday again. I do not know how strong we can be I am hoping when all fit and settled we will be better.

I certainly do not think our manager wants to finish in the same position he lost good players but has signed players he believes will do the job I am sure. This has nothing to do with any other clubs IMO Hibs are under performing that is why we are off pace.

Of course it’s got something to do with other teams. We’re of the pace, not just because we’re not winning, but also because the teams above us are.

Agree that The Rangers aren’t anything special but they have clearly improved on last year. They’ll win the vast majority of games at Ibrox this year. Killie are much the same as they were in the second half of last season, yes. But they are miles in front of where they were at this point last year. They’ll fancy their chances of an increased points total.

The Rangers are significantly better than last year. Their away form still isn’t great but they’re absolutely blowing teams away at Ibrox. I’d expect them to pull away over the next month.

Anyone thinking we will finish 2nd in the league this year is living in cloud cuckoo land. We as a team are nowhere near a strong as last year. Given the standard of players we lost it was inevitable. The bigots whilst aren't a great team, are certainly stronger than most in the division & given the fact they get every decision during games, especially in and around the penalty areas, will ,without doubt, finish no lower than 2nd this year.

Pretty much agree with this.
The Rangers are vulnerable on their travels and a strong HIBS team firing on all cylinders should see them off at Easter Road but due to our inconsistency you never know what HIBS team will turn up
We need to get this sorted ASAP
The Rangers to finish second for me.

Well let me see I think we have better players than the other teams and a better manager that is probably the reason.

WOW, i'd say we are definitely weaker than last season, and other teams have got stronger. I'd say there is not a chance in hell we will finish 2nd, and i'd say we probably wont get into the top 4 this season unless we have a very good January in the transfer window, but i'm hopeful we do.

Well it will be me who will be more disappointed than you then if we finish lower down.

Here’s a prediction

Hearts 4th
Hibs 5th, Hibs win Scottish cup and take hearts place in Europe.

Hearts are not better than us IMO we are off the pace because we ourselves have failed to win games we should have. Yes I am sure the teams above us could say the same but nobody above us is setting the Heather on fire hence why I am disappointed that it is our own fault we are not closer.

Full strength Hibs nobody away from Celtic worries me. I wonder what people would have said at the beginning of last season that we would be pushing for 2nd until 2 games to go. I think we are capable if others don't that's fine.

Enough said

Too many passengers who are taking us to a bottom 6 finish

As an OP this is the very definition of bed wetting.

There are gaps in the squad - we are a quality box to box midfielder and another striker short at least for me. These shortcomings have contributed to a truly dreadful November and Lennon has work to do in January - no doubt about it. There is quality in the squad though and to say we are dreadful is just slavering reactionary pish.

It’s not really though is it? We’re in the bottom 6. Hardly bed wetting to suggest that’s where this squad will take us when they’ve currently got us sitting there.

We can all debate whether we’ll finish there or not but it’s certainly not bed wetting to suggest that we could finish there. The evidence is right in front of us that it’s a possibility.

Agreed, I here are a few who never stop with the same old.

Calum, you don’t always need to answer everybody who disagrees with you.

I don’t. But if I want to post then I will. I’m not going to sit and wonder weather superfurryhibbys post quota on a certain topic has been breached. If that upsets you then click the ignore button :aok:

Ok, I will explore how to do it. To be fair, you at least try to back up your constant negativity with well rehearsed, but occasionally valid points. It’s just the prolific nature of your posting that I find grating. Don’t know where you get the energy from.

We looked tired / unfit today - slightly worrying as so many games coming up.

Another injury but least Hanlon is back.

We did look of the pace, not sharp or hungry, and thats after nearly 2 weeks of a lay off, what does it take to motivate players to going onto the pitch and work their back sides of for 90 minutes or however long they can last, they shod all come of at the end shattered !
Whilst its great having international players, this australian connection is not great and just as well efe isnt on the.international scene just now or he could be another one gone.for a month or away of frequent travels coming back to us tired !!
Have we not invested massively in the fitnesss and conditioning coaches so why are they not fit ? Wonder if its still the 3 hours a day at the training ground that includes lunch or has it gone up an hour ?

I'm willing to wager that Mr Cleanyman's matress floats in a perpetual sea of pish
