A televised Sunday lunchtime KO for Celtic and a midweek (unsure if this one is to be televised) against Rangers could be a challenge to sell enough for Hibs to make the call on splitting the South.
It wouldn’t be good if we say gave Celtic the full end but Rangers half - was getting fed up explaining how that situation came about to hun acquaintances last season. We might need to split for both or neither to avoid any tantrums or accusations.

I say give Celtc the full end but Sevco half - just for grins. :greengrin:wink:

I’d just give them both the full stand now..

If our current pish form continues then they will get the full stand, thats a certainty.

We will sell out the 3 home ends for both games. The livi and st.mirren games will be the ones with the lower attendances. Maybe hibs could have put together a 3 match package at a cheaper price and on sale in the south stand?

No point in that. You could give them the tickets right at the last minute and they will shift them no bother.

Hope we give ourselves every chance of opening the south to Hibs fans, even if I’m sceptical about our chances of actually needing the seats. Still, we have a decent run of fixtures leading up to those games and winning will spike interest.

I think we will need them .. its only an extra 1500 or so , we have had fans in there for the smaller games

We haven’t necessarily filled it for the smaller games though which we would have to do for these games to make it financially. Any unsold seat in the South against either of the Ugly Sisters is money lost.

this, but would be great, and justified, giving sevco the same amount they give our fans for Snake Mountain

If we sell 1000 in there then its worth it imo , more hibs fans the better

I’d rather have a full end of fans, be that Hibs or whoever. If we can sell out three stands then fill half the South then that’s absolutely ideal, but if not I’d rather give up the whole stand rather than have swathes or empty seats and lose out financially just out of spite.

400 seats? What would we do with the other 3,500?

Cover them with a giant "Show sectarianism the red card" banner.

Sorry if there is another thread, but is the derby sold out?

Half season tickets on sale. Probably will be only not much more than a thousand if the usual amount of half seasons are sold. Dont think they'll be on sale till late mid December

Rangers SLO on Twitter saying they've been given 1800 tickets for the game in December so I assume Celtic have been given half the stand too.

Celtic's allocation has been halved aswell.

Not a chance we'll sell out our current home allocation aswell as the extra 1500 seats in the South Stand...

As the Derby is included in the half season tickets on sale at the moment we will have to wait until this closes before we know how many seats are left .
Ive been tasked to get 2 Germans tickets for the game and i am not sure if its going to be possible to get them

As of today, both games have about 750 tickets left in home stands plus whatever we keep back in the South.

Easy decision to make imo.. give them the tickets we’re not in a position to throw money away..

Agree, not a big decision. We will probably sell most of the tickets in the home stands, with a handful of odd ones unsold.

Not a chance that the South is needed for Hibs fans this time around unfortunately.

And hey, we will still have over 16,000 fans there, or 80% of the crowd, that is still impressive.
