Does anyone happen to have an audio clip of the BBC Scotland radio commentary from the 21st of may? Ideally the goals and full-time...

Something I've never heard but would be very grateful to hear.

I heard the commentary of the winning goal on a Sportsound show a number of months back, but it turned out to be pretty underwhelming - John Barnes’ commentary of the legendary goal was devoid of any great emotion or enthusiasm more suited for something like Hamilton opening the scoring at Dens Park. Nowhere near the now famous Ian Crocker Sky commentary or Liam McLeod’s from the BBC - the afters on the radio linked in the OP is far better.

I would have loved it if David Begg was commentating on it. My only regret about us winning the thing is that it wasn't during his time lol.

Definitely. Still got the commentary of the Ivan match on a phone as a ringtone somewhere 😀

and yes, I find myself agreeing with the others here - John Barnes doesn't exactly capture the moment, does he? I was listening to the red star belgrade goals go in against liverpool last night and the commentary was fantastic - think it was John Murray on five live - and it made me wonder what the radio was like for the cup final. if only david begg was still going indeed...

Just listened to this for the first time,
The sheer scale of the bitterness by Chick Young and Tam Cowan is unbelievable.
How that prick Young was never brought to task over his lies is baffling?

Me too! Actually listened to it on my old Walkman when I want as was away from my pals! Some scenes! After years it was the first time I seen us win at Ibrox having seen us win against Celtic a few months earlier (Ivan and brown)

I remember getting back to the car- finally- and off the ball was on. I couldn’t get my head around the somber tone and comments. At that stage I wasn’t aware that several rangers players were in hospital..

Felt a bit of a deflation. Then quickly got over it!

I went to a few of the funerals. All very sombre moments in Lanarkshire and Belfast.

I laid a wreath full of Poppies at each one of them and it was quite moving.

Given the chance to ask them them, and Keith Jackson, I'd want to know which players were taken to hospital and which hospital. Funny how we don't know this information, or that no-one has ever asked the question.
