I’d rather have a team challenging at the top, regardless of being ‘club-trained’ or not.

Slightly skewed by Lewis, Paul Hanlon and whittaker though.

More importantly. We've fielded the second or third oldest 11, which I was quite surprised by.

Do you have the facts around the age part? I’d struggle to believe that when you look at the general ages of the majority of our squad.

It's in the same link that it says it. Considering, Mcgregor and Milligan are 33, Whittaker is 34, Marvin Bartley and Efe are both in their 30s, Paul Hanlon and Lewis Stevenson are 30 or there abouts, this doesn't seem too surprising to me.
