Few difficult games in Europe coming up for the Huns as well!

Think he’ll be gone by the he winter break if the results and form keep going south.

Can see where he’s coming from but the fact is, their European results have kept the lid on it.

If they’d been papped out by another Progres and had this league form, I dare say Gerard would be getting a lot of grief, regardless of who he is.

Have St Mirren given Rangers both ends?

Livingston gave them 3/4 of Almondvale. Not hard to understand why these small clubs do it. It’s a hell of a payday if the infirm sell it out.

Livingston give every away side 3/4 of the stadium if they want it.

Im watching Bournemouth 1 Man U 1. Ryan Fraser is pure quality; id build the Scotland midfield around him and McGinn.

Apparently he’s going to play for England that’s why he’s always “injured”. He is quality though, poor Aberdeen got buttons for him.

Sky posted something on Facebook at start of October asking if he should get called up to England squad, so even people who get paid to write about football have made this mistake!

Nobody will ever convince me that some refs allow personal bias to cloud a lot of their decisions. They have to be careful not to make it too obvious but sometimes they just can’t help themselves.

Friday is as good a chance as any to win at Pittodrie and give our season a kick-start, provided Lennon picks the right team this time.

Aberdeen have guts and determination ingrained in them.

They lose some of their best players on a regular basis but still cope.

We, on the other hand, struggle and see to switch off on certain games. Aberdeen very rarely lose their focus, especially in the ‘wee’ games.

I'm not sticking my head in the sand. I commented on another thread last night that Friday's game won't be easy. I think that is being realistic whilst still remaining a bit more positive than simply saying we won't win.

Arsenal Liverpool kicking off. Cant wait. 4-3 to someone i reckon.

I thought it was a cracking game, toe-to-toe and end-to-end.

As things stand, probably a better result for Arsenal than Liverpool, but it's tight at the top and it will be fascinating to see how the season unfolds. We've seen countless posts in the past about the EPL being anodyne, but even just this season already, there has been no shortage of hugely entertaining games.

The stand-out for me from last night's game was Lucas Torreira. He's just bedding himself in to the Arsenal team as he wasn't fully fit at the start of the season but he looks like he has played there for years. Only 22 as well. This guy could comfortably be at the heart of their midfield for several years. I think he will be the most important player for the Gunners this year, though I also fancy Holding to establish himself and I think there's scope for Maitland-Niles and Smith-Rowe to break through properly as well.

Top-class goal by Lacazette though.
