“We have had fans leave the ground at half time and meet in a car park a mile away. Two hours after the Hearts-Hibs game there was a pre-organised fight between the risk supporters.”

So says an Assistant Chief Constable.

Anyone heard of/participate in this?

Who won and were there any flags in evidence?

Sainsbury's car park? Fighting over who got to help the staff cash up that night.

I was involved and it wasn't a fight.

We had a trolley race down the hill next to Sainsbury's and the Yams won, but only cos the grass hadn't been cut for a fortnight.

Obviously we've demanded a rematch, which will be held at Asda at the Jewel, which has a better maintained slope.

Just after midnight there were about 50 or so guys that had a scrap on our street (not too far from Tynecastle) throwing bits and pieces and generally yelling and swinging punches. Not sure it was football related, but seemed likely. Police came reasonably quickly.

I was told by a doorman when I was in town last night that a fleet of police vehicles where nashing towards the Haymarket area around midnight. I suspect it may be related. He also said there was also a smaller flurry of police vehicles a bit earlier.

It should probably be held at the same time as the match as these guys are not very interested in that

Probably had to leave at half time for the Pavement Dancing Championships

Just back from doing my shopping in my local Morrisons where I had a catch-up regarding the game with one of the 'old skool' casuals and he was telling me that around 30 Hibs casuals done in their hearts counterparts in Luckies at around midnight after the game.

What I found odd though (not doubting him) is he said that there were around a dozen or so Bohemian lads over from Dublin that were with them.

Growing up obviously passed them by.

There was a battle outside Luckies after the game.

Is there not always boxing outside Luckies when a derby is on? Isn’t it known that Hearts casuals go there and Hibs fans turn up for a pager?

Worley, I also heard the story about Bohemian fans as well. Didn’t some Hibs boys go over there for a game?

I have no idea. I'm not involved in the casual scene - only adding to the thread after what i heard from an old friend for which incidentally wasn't involved.

Can’t be true,

None of the Jambos would have had a £1 coin for the trolley as they were all skudded off Lennons heid!!

It wasn’t a Falkirk style dance-off. Iron bars and other weapons were involved. Some guys took a fair pounding.

These wannabe casuals are just fannies... they spend more time pavement dancing shouting "mon then, mon then" than actually fighting......knackers the lot of them

This was serious stuff by all accounts. Hospital beds still being occupied by some of the jambos involved.

Considering there hasnt been much noise about the "incident" I take it that was a dull 0-0 draw too.

Shouldn’t have been allowed...towels are not deemed part of the paggerer’s equipment.
