A final we were not expected to reach, as we had David Murray's galacticos to deal with in the semi final.
Funny enough that game sticks out for me as much as the final.
I was working in the Highlands at the time and managed to get a panel line -)

Had the week or so off and went to the semi final.
When i returned to work my Yorkshireman gaffer said (with a knowing look)
"Your team did well last week !"
He was an ardent Leeds fan,so he understood !

No such problem for the final.
Had the long weekend off !

LC finals we could/should have won.

The one against Oldco at Celtic Park .

We wiz robbed !

Livingston...What a shambles that turned out to be against a club in admin, after having beat both oldco and Celtic to get there

And more recently Ross County. Mugged !

Incidentally
The prize money for winning the LC in 2016 was more than we got winning The Holy Grail.

Wee cup indeed !

Interesting to note the crowd at the Livvy final was 45.000.
Being the "wee team" in the "wee cup" we took some crowd that day,as we did at the Kilmarnock final
