In fairness, Boyle is the only one of those that has been playing consistently this season. Still think we have enough cover to put up a good fight tomorrow but Boyle definitely a big miss, with him and Tam out we could be lacking in the pace department to counter Celtic.

You do know these guys train up to 5 days a week?

Its highly more likely to get injured during a training exercise or bounce match than it is during 90 mins.

Three wingers all Doubful is a blow if correct
Gray seems unable to play 90 minutes without getting another knock that keeps him out so that's a blow given the form he has been in when playing
Some of the Doubtfuls will no doubt make it I would expect
But with the Hearts game after Parkhead we can expect more injuries to be picked up
Injuries are all part and parcel of why we need a Squad but we are not that far into the Season and we seem to constantly have several players missing through injury Bit of a nuisance but not a lot we can do about it

They’re only doubts. I don’t want to tempt fate, but I would expect at least couple of them to be available.

Pretty sure Boyle hasn’t been 100% for much of the season.

****ing disgrace if he was. The Australian FA should be covering his wages for the remainder of his contract if this turns out to be true. Surely we’re due masses of compensation now?

Why are the BBC, Sky, EEN, Daily Record, Pravda, Washington Post etc not running this story like they did when hearts had a couple of injuries. We truly are the wee team! Pity about these injuries but we have had a fair few all season long, Im sure we'll cope.

SDG really didn’t need to lunge into that tackle when we were 4-0 up but I guess that’s the kind of attitude that has made him so popular. Really hope Boyle can shrug off whatever is ailing him so he can take over at right wing-back. I think that’s a better option when Gray is unavailable. More so if Whittaker is struggling. Big Daz can step into a back three and we keep Milligan in midfield...

Totally agree pretty obvious he was injured in the Hamilton game. Assume Gray did ankle ligaments v Hamilton would assume out for a few weeks. Horgan would be a shame as would Whittaker given he would be the obvious full back replacement.

Just guessing based on him hobbling off. If only a knock you would assume he would have recovered in 2 weeks.

I don’t think he’s been injured as such. But I don’t think he’s been 100%. Remember he did his hamstring at the end of last season. Then he didn’t start any of the pre season games. Was then ‘rested’ in the Faroes which was to manage him really. He’s had a fair few knocks as well. Seems to be rated doubtful most weeks although I think he’s only missed one league game.

Ankle ligaments isn’t that ‘serious’ an injury. Just results in it blowing up and takes 2/3 weeks to settle back down again. Very painful at the time but fairly quick to heal. Only real issue is that once it’s done, it’s very weak and can happen again and again.

SDG's current injury caused by stupidity on his part.
Charging into a pointless tackle on the half way line whilst his team was 4-0 up.
Shame as he is playing well.

Why are we picking up so many injuries.Something wrong with our training maybe.I don’t think our European adventure helped. Early start to the season, and the sheer amount of important games we had to prepare for didn’t allow us to full rest players and they’ve been picking lots of niggling injuries as a result. Flo, Gray and Boyle prime examples. Hanlon too.

Not sure about Agyepong, Horgan and Maclaren though.

I had a feeling he would do this I said as such after avril lavange announced their injuries. Next part of the mind games is how many times they will mention serious injuries before the game. At least once at every press conference. Surprised we haven't had a statement from Queen budge. I wonder if nl will be tempted to drop milligan into cental defence and Marvin to start. Ideal game for the bartman.

It really wasn't.

Regardless of the score you have to play for 90 minutes. He can't be shirking tackles or going in half-committed.

It was unlucky and it's one of those things that happen to you if you are a bit injury prone but very committed.

Easy to say that in hindsight it was a 50/50 tackle which being the player and captain he is he was always going to compete for. Just one of those things imo.

I know mate. I'm not blaming him. I think it was a 40/60 with no real danger of a breakaway. I think he would've been better jockeying. Easy for me to say though.

You can’t just turn a players level of competitiveness on or off like that. That’s why we get injuries in training as well. Training and games are at full tempo all the time.

I’ve done it a few times, tore my right ankle ligaments 3 times in just over a year. Mines is fine now, doesn’t give me any grief and it feels stronger than ever when I’m playing now but it does give some people persistent issues even after it’s healed.

It depends what you’ve done to them that will determine the seriousness of it. I don’t think it’s been said what Gray has done to his?
